Who Can Write For Us? Contribute Guest Posts at FsiBlog

FsiBlog Lifestyle invites passionate writers from all walks of life to share their insights, experiences, and tips. We believe talent has no boundaries, so there are no strict limitations just a love for writing and a desire to inspire readers.
We’re looking for contributors interested in lifestyle topics such as life hacks, home décor, health, fitness, wellness, self-improvement, beauty, travel, and more anything that adds value and knowledge for our audience.
You don’t need high qualifications or professional credentials. If your content fulfills readers’ needs and follows Google’s helpful content guidelines, you’re good to go.
Whether you’re an expert in lifestyle topics wanting to share your experiences, or a beginner looking to improve your writing skills while providing helpful tips, FsiBlog is the perfect platform for you. You’ll also receive constructive feedback from our team and audience to help you grow as a writer.
Why Should You Write For Us In Lifestyle?

FsiBlog is built around real, everyday living, not recycled advice you can find on a hundred other sites. If you enjoy writing about how people actually live, cope, and grow, from daily habits to travel, parenting, wellness, and personal growth, this is a space where that kind of writing gets read and valued.
We publish for readers who are actively looking for practical, honest guidance, not filler content written to hit a word count. That means your work reaches people who genuinely want what you have to say, rather than disappearing into a feed. Writing for our Lifestyle section also puts your name next to topics with lasting relevance, since life hacks, health habits, travel planning, and parenting advice stay useful long after the publish date, giving your article a longer shelf life than trend based content.
Beyond the exposure, this is a place to sharpen your craft. Every submission gets real editorial feedback, not just an approval or rejection, so you learn what works and why. If your writing consistently connects with our audience, there is a clear path to becoming a regular contributor rather than a one time guest writer.
If you have a genuine perspective on lifestyle, health, or self improvement and you want it read by people who are actually looking for it, we would like to hear from you.
This works best as an H2, sitting alongside “Why Should You Write For Us In Lifestyle?” and “What Am I Getting Out Of This?” as its own major section, since it’s introducing a new topic (content standards) rather than a sub-point of the previous one.
What Makes Great Lifestyle Content for FsiBlog?

Great lifestyle content starts with a real angle, not a rehashed list. Before you pitch a topic, ask what you can say about it that a reader cannot already find in the first five search results. That might be a personal experience, a habit you tested yourself, a mistake you learned from, or research that adds something new to a well covered subject.
The strongest submissions we receive share a few things in common:
- A clear, specific focus. “Morning habits that actually stick” performs better than a broad piece on “how to be productive,” because it promises something concrete.
- Practical value the reader can act on. Tips, steps, or takeaways they can use the same day, not just general encouragement.
- An honest, human voice. Readers can tell when advice comes from real experience versus a generic summary of other articles.
- Balanced, evidence backed claims. Especially for health and wellness topics, credible sources paired with genuine insight, rather than absolute promises.
- A structure built for how people actually read. Short paragraphs, clear headings, and useful subheadings that let a reader scan and still get value.
If your idea has a genuine point of view and gives the reader something they can use, it belongs on FsiBlog. If it reads like it could be published anywhere, it probably needs a sharper angle before you write the full draft.
About FsiBlog

Well, hello there. I’m so glad you found your way here. This is my little corner of the internet, real life, real stories, and everything in between. I’m Shenne’, and this space was built entirely from love.
Who I Am Content Creator.
I’m Shenne‘, a lifestyle and fashion content creator, a proud mama to two of the most incredible little humans to ever exist, and a wife to the absolute love of my life. This space, FsiBlog, is where all of those worlds collide, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I came into the world on a warm autumn night in 1993, in a small hospital in Savannah, Georgia. I spent the first thirteen years of my life there, blissfully unaware that the world was about to get a whole lot bigger. Today, our little family calls Austin, Texas home, and we wouldn’t trade it for anywhere else.
Meet the two who made me a mum.

Bentley

Bentley came into my world and rewired everything. He is pure energy, endless curiosity, and the kind of laugh that fills up an entire room. Becoming his mum was the moment I truly understood what it means to love someone so fiercely it takes your breath away.
Harley

And then came Harley, and just when I thought my heart couldn’t possibly stretch any further, it did. Harley brought a whole new kind of magic into our home. Softer, sweeter, and somehow already full of personality from day one.
Together, Bentley and Harley are my greatest adventure. My loudest cheerleaders, my earliest alarm clocks, my biggest motivation. Everything I create, every story I tell, every late night spent editing and writing, it’s all for them. Motherhood has made me more patient, more present, more grateful, and honestly a far better storyteller.
Married to the love of my life.

Beyond the beautiful chaos of motherhood, I’m also a wife to the love of my life. The man who has supported every wild idea, every creative pivot, and every 2am “I have a new vision for the blog” conversation without complaint. We’re building something really beautiful together, and I’m so grateful to share pieces of it with you here.
Everything I love, all in one place.
Lifestyle
How I live, what I love, and the little things that make everyday life feel truly special.
Motherhood
The real, raw, ridiculously beautiful journey of raising Bentley and Harley.
Fashion & Beauty
Outfits I actually wear, products I genuinely use, and style that works for real life.
Family & Marriage
Life with the love of my life and the beautiful family we’re building together.
Health & Wellness
Mind, body and soul, living well in every chapter and season of life.
Home & Interiors
Styling, organising and making every space in our home feel truly loved.
Travel
Family adventures, honest destination guides and everywhere we’ve been together.
Food & Recipes
Family-tested recipes and meals that everyone around our table actually eats.
Good call — here’s the expanded version with a few benefits that were missing:
What Am I Getting Out Of This?

- You get direct, honest feedback from our editorial team on your writing, which is useful whether you’re building a freelance career or just improving your craft.
- Strong, consistent submissions can lead to an ongoing spot as a regular FsiBlog contributor, not just a one time guest post.
- There is no cost to submit or publish. We do not charge writers, and we never will.
- You get exposure to a readership already interested in lifestyle, health, and self improvement topics, which is far more valuable than generic traffic.

FsiBlog Post Guidelines
This page explains, in full detail, what we expect from every writer who publishes on FsiBlog, how our review process works, and how our standards line up with Google’s own guidance for helpful, people first content. Read it fully before you submit a draft, it will save you at least one round of revisions.
Submission Guidelines
Every article that reaches FsiBlog passes through the same editorial checklist, regardless of topic or writer. These six standards form the foundation of that checklist, and understanding the reasoning behind each one will help you write an article that passes review on the first attempt.
Content originality and plagiarism policy
We accept fully original content only. Every submission is run through a plagiarism detection tool before it reaches a human editor, and it must return a minimum uniqueness score of 95 percent. Content copied, spun, or lightly reworded from another site is rejected automatically and the writer is notified with the reason.
If you are adapting a previously published piece of your own, it must contain at least 70 percent new material, a materially different structure, and a clear note in your submission explaining where and when it was first published. We reserve the right to decline any republished content regardless of the percentage of new material if we feel it does not add fresh value for our readers.
What this means in practice
- Write the article yourself, in your own words, based on your own understanding of the topic
- Do not use spinning tools or thesaurus style word replacement to disguise copied text
- Quote sparingly, and always attribute the quote and link back to the original source
- Disclose if the piece has appeared anywhere else, even on your own blog or a guest post elsewhere
Evidence based writing standards
Any factual, medical, statistical, or research based claim in your article must be supported by a credible, checkable source. We require a minimum of five references, drawn from peer reviewed journals, recognised medical or government institutions, university research, or established news organisations with editorial standards.
References should generally be published within the last five years so the information stays current, unless the source is historically significant, a foundational study, or a definition that has not changed over time. Every reference must actually support the specific claim it is attached to, our editors check this during review rather than simply counting links.
Acceptable source types
- Peer reviewed journals and academic research databases
- Government health, safety, or statistical agencies
- Recognised medical institutions, universities, and professional associations
- Established news organisations and industry publications with editorial oversight
Reader friendly formatting
Readers scan before they read, so structure matters as much as content. Break your article into clear H2 sections roughly every 300 to 400 words, and use H3 subheadings underneath where a section covers more than one idea. Each heading should describe exactly what the section covers, not a vague or clickbait style phrase.
Use bullet points and numbered lists wherever information is naturally sequential or comparative, since long paragraphs of comparative data are hard to scan on a phone screen. Include at least three relevant images, charts, or infographics, each with a descriptive caption and proper credit if it was not created by you. Keep paragraphs short, ideally three to four sentences, and avoid walls of text longer than six lines.
Formatting checklist
- One clear H1 style title, never repeated inside the body
- Logical H2 and H3 hierarchy, no skipped heading levels
- Short paragraphs, generous white space, and scannable lists
- At least three images with alt text and credit where required
Word count and depth requirements
Depth requirements exist because thin content rarely satisfies a reader’s full question, and Google’s own guidance rewards content that provides a substantial, complete description of a topic rather than a surface level summary. Word count is a guide, not a target to hit with filler.
| Article type | Recommended length |
|---|---|
| Standard article | 1,500 to 2,500 words |
| Comprehensive guide | Up to 3,500 words |
| Case study | 2,000 to 3,000 words |
| Quick tips article | 1,000 to 1,500 words |
If your topic genuinely needs more space to be covered properly, tell us in your pitch. We would rather receive a longer, thorough article than a short one padded out to hit a number.
SEO and keyword integration
Search visibility matters to us because it is how most readers discover FsiBlog, but it should never come before accuracy, clarity, or genuine usefulness. Place your primary keyword in the title, in the opening paragraph, and naturally two to three more times through the body where it fits the sentence without being forced.
Use related terms and semantically connected phrases, often called LSI keywords, so the article reads naturally to both a human and a search engine trying to understand its topic. Write a meta description between 150 and 160 characters that honestly summarises the article and gives a reader a reason to click, rather than an exaggerated or misleading hook.
Keyword placement checklist
- Primary keyword in the title and opening paragraph
- Primary keyword repeated two to three times naturally in the body
- Related and semantically connected terms used throughout
- No keyword stuffing, no repeating the exact phrase unnaturally
Disclaimers and editorial ethics
Health, wellness, and advice based articles must include an appropriate disclaimer reminding readers to consult a qualified professional before acting on the information provided. Do not present a definitive diagnosis, a specific treatment instruction, or medical advice framed as a guarantee.
Respect reader privacy at all times, do not request or publish identifying personal information in case studies without explicit consent, and never promote unproven treatments, miracle cures, or products that make claims your sources cannot support. If in doubt about whether a claim crosses a line, leave it out or soften it and cite the uncertainty.
On Page SEO Requirements
Strong writing alone is not enough for an article to perform well in search. Every submission also needs solid on page SEO fundamentals, based on Google’s own Search Essentials and SEO Starter Guide. This is what our editors check before scheduling an article.
Title and heading structure
One clear title that reflects the article’s main topic, followed by a logical H2 and H3 structure underneath. Headings should describe the section accurately, include keywords only where they read naturally, and never skip a level in the hierarchy.
URL and slug structure
Short, descriptive URLs that reflect the primary keyword, written in lowercase with hyphens between words. Avoid stop words, dates, or unnecessary characters that add length without adding meaning.
Internal and external links
Two to four internal links to related FsiBlog articles so readers and Google can discover more of the site, plus outbound links to authoritative external sources that directly support your claims.
Images and alt text
Compressed, relevant images with descriptive file names and alt text that explains what the image shows, not just the target keyword repeated. This also keeps the article accessible to screen reader users.
Meta title and description
A meta title under 60 characters and a meta description between 150 and 160 characters that accurately summarises the article. Accuracy matters more than a clever hook, since misleading titles hurt trust and rankings alike.
Readability and search intent
Content should answer the search intent behind the topic completely, in plain language, without keyword stuffing. Write for the person reading first, and let good structure and honest keyword usage take care of search engines.
Mobile friendliness
Most FsiBlog readers arrive on a phone. Short paragraphs, readable font sizes, and images that scale properly all matter more on mobile than on desktop, so review your draft on a phone before submitting.
Author and byline information
Include an accurate author bio with your submission. A visible byline with background information helps readers and Google understand who produced the content and why they should trust it.
Google Quality Guidelines We Follow
FsiBlog editorial decisions are guided directly by Google Search Essentials and the principles behind Google’s guidance on creating helpful, reliable, people first content. Every accepted article is expected to reflect the following framework, known as E-E-A-T.
Experience
Writing that reflects real, first hand knowledge, testing, or lived experience with the topic, rather than a rewritten summary of what other articles already say. If you have personally tried a product, visited a place, or lived through a situation, say so and describe it.
Expertise
Accurate, well researched information supported by credible sources, especially for health, finance, or advice based topics where Google applies a higher standard often called Your Money or Your Life content.
Authoritativeness
Content that positions FsiBlog and its authors as a reliable reference within the topic, backed by an accurate author bio, consistent editorial standards, and a track record of trustworthy publishing.
Trustworthiness
Transparent sourcing, honest claims, clear disclaimers where needed, and no misleading headlines or exaggerated promises. Google treats trustworthiness as the most important part of this framework.
People first content
Articles written to genuinely help a reader accomplish something or understand something, not written primarily to rank in search results or capture a keyword.
Original value
A unique angle, added insight, personal testing, or updated data that a reader cannot already find in the top ranking articles on the same topic elsewhere online.
A simple test worth applying to your own draft
Before you submit, ask yourself the same self assessment question Google recommends to creators, is this the sort of page you would personally bookmark, share with a friend, or expect to see referenced in a well respected publication. If the honest answer is no, the article likely needs another pass before it is ready for review.
Quality Checks We Run On Every Submission
Before an article reaches a human editor, it passes through a set of automated quality checks. This keeps our standards consistent across every writer and protects both readers and contributors from unreliable content slipping through.
Plagiarism checker
Every submission must return 0 percent detected plagiarism against published web content, with a minimum uniqueness score of 95 percent before it proceeds to human review.
AI content detector
We scan for fully AI generated text. Using AI to assist with brainstorming or light editing is fine, but the final article must read as genuinely human written, with your own voice and judgement throughout.
Grammar and readability check
Spelling, grammar, and sentence flow are reviewed so the final published article is clean, professional, and easy to read from start to finish.
Word and keyword counter
Confirms the article meets the required word count for its category and that keyword usage looks natural rather than repeated or forced into the text.
Fact and source check
Our editors manually verify that every reference actually supports the specific claim it is attached to, rather than simply checking that a link exists.
Formatting review
Headings, lists, images, links, and meta information are checked against the formatting standards on this page before final approval and scheduling.
Benefits And Limitations
