FsiBlog respects the intellectual property rights of all creators and expects the same in return. This DMCA Policy sets out how we handle copyright infringement claims and how you can report unauthorised use of your work on this website.
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a United States federal law that provides a legal framework for addressing online copyright infringement. Enacted in 1998, the DMCA allows copyright owners to formally notify website operators when their protected content has been used without permission — and establishes a process for having that content removed swiftly.
FsiBlog operates in full compliance with the DMCA and has designated a Copyright Agent to receive and process infringement notifications. We take all claims of copyright infringement seriously and respond to valid takedown notices promptly.
Our Commitment: FsiBlog is built on original, authentic content. We do not knowingly publish copyrighted material belonging to others. If content has been published in error, we will act swiftly and in good faith to resolve the matter.
All original content published on FsiBlog — including written articles, blog posts, lifestyle guides, personal essays, images, photography, graphics, logos and any other creative materials produced by Shenne' Davies or the FsiBlog editorial team — is the exclusive intellectual property of FsiBlog and is protected under applicable copyright law.
FsiBlog is committed to sourcing and licensing all third-party content used on this site appropriately. We do not intentionally publish copyrighted images, text or other media belonging to third parties without permission. Where third-party content is used, it is either licensed, royalty-free, attributed under Creative Commons, or used with express written permission.
If you believe that content published on FsiBlog infringes upon your copyright or the copyright of someone you are authorised to represent, you may submit a formal DMCA takedown notice to our designated copyright agent. This process is governed by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
To be valid and actionable, your DMCA notice must include all of the required information detailed in Section 03 below. Incomplete notices may not be processed. Do not send notices via social media — all DMCA notices must be submitted in writing by email to our designated agent.
Before filing a DMCA notice: Please consider whether the content you believe infringes your copyright may in fact constitute fair use, commentary, criticism, education or transformative use. We encourage good-faith resolution wherever possible. If you are uncertain, please contact us directly before filing a formal notice.
Our designated copyright agent will review your notice and respond within 2 business days of receipt. If the notice is found to be valid, the identified content will be removed or access to it will be disabled promptly.
To be considered a valid DMCA takedown notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your written notification must include all of the following elements. Notices missing any required element may be considered insufficient and may not be acted upon.
A physical or electronic signature of the person authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner whose rights have allegedly been infringed.
A clear identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered, a representative list is acceptable.
The specific URL or location on FsiBlog where the allegedly infringing material can be found — sufficient detail for us to locate the content.
Your full name, mailing address, telephone number and email address so we can contact you regarding your notice.
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Send your completed DMCA notice by email to: ifsiblog@gmail.com
Subject line: DMCA Takedown Notice — [Your Name / Organisation]

Upon receipt of a valid and complete DMCA takedown notice, FsiBlog will follow the process outlined below. We are committed to acting swiftly, fairly and transparently in handling all copyright infringement claims in compliance with the DMCA safe harbour provisions.
We acknowledge receipt of your DMCA notice within 1 business day and confirm that our copyright agent has begun reviewing the claim.
Our designated agent reviews the notice to verify that all required elements are present and that the claim appears credible and made in good faith.
If the notice is found to be valid, the identified material will be removed from FsiBlog or access to it will be disabled promptly — typically within 2 business days of verification.
Where applicable, we will notify the person who posted the content that it has been removed, provide a copy of the DMCA notice and inform them of their right to submit a counter-notice.
The content provider has 10 to 14 business days to submit a valid counter-notice. If no counter-notice is received within this period, the removed content will remain inaccessible.
If a valid counter-notice is received and the claimant does not initiate legal proceedings within the statutory timeframe, the content may be restored at FsiBlog's discretion.
If content you have submitted to FsiBlog has been removed or disabled in response to a DMCA takedown notice and you believe the removal was made in error — for example, because you own the copyright, have a licence to use the content, or the use constitutes fair use — you have the right to submit a formal counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).
Your counter-notice must be submitted in writing to our designated copyright agent and must contain all of the following elements to be considered valid:
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, FsiBlog will forward it to the original claimant. If the claimant does not notify us that they have filed a court action within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore the removed content at our discretion.
In accordance with the requirements of the DMCA, FsiBlog maintains a policy of terminating — in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion — the accounts or access of users, contributors and guest posters who are deemed to be repeat infringers of copyright.
A repeat infringer is any person who has had content removed from FsiBlog on multiple occasions following valid DMCA takedown notices. Such individuals may be permanently prohibited from contributing to or accessing certain areas of FsiBlog without further notice.
Guest contributors and collaborators are reminded that all content submitted to FsiBlog must be entirely original and free from any third-party copyright claims. Submitting content that infringes the copyright of others is a violation of our Guest Post Guidelines and may result in immediate removal and permanent ban from FsiBlog.
Please be aware that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that content or activity is infringing — or that material was removed by mistake — may be held liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees incurred as a result of the false claim.
FsiBlog reserves the right to disregard and not act on DMCA notices that appear to be abusive, fraudulent, made in bad faith, or intended to suppress lawful criticism, commentary or reporting. Any DMCA notice submitted with the intention of harassing or silencing a creator may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
The content constitutes clear fair use, commentary, criticism or satire. Filing a DMCA notice in bad faith against lawfully published content is a federal offence under US law and may expose you to significant liability.
Abusive, fraudulent or harassing DMCA notices to the appropriate authorities. We take the misuse of the DMCA takedown process as seriously as we take genuine copyright infringement.
FsiBlog acknowledges the doctrine of fair use under 17 U.S.C. § 107, which permits certain limited uses of copyrighted material without requiring permission from the rights holder. Fair use considerations include the purpose and nature of the use, the nature of the copyrighted work, the amount used and the effect of the use on the market for the original work.
Content on FsiBlog may occasionally include brief quotations, image references or factual references to third-party works for the purposes of commentary, criticism, education, news reporting or transformative expression. Such uses are made in good faith and with proper attribution wherever possible.
If you believe that content on FsiBlog uses your work in a manner that goes beyond fair use and constitutes genuine infringement, we welcome a direct conversation before any formal DMCA notice is filed. In many cases, a simple attribution correction or voluntary removal can resolve the matter quickly and amicably.
All original content on FsiBlog is the copyrighted property of Shenne' Davies and FsiBlog. We actively monitor for unauthorised reproduction of our articles, photography and creative assets across the web and social media.
If you discover that FsiBlog content has been reproduced without permission on a third-party website, we would appreciate you letting us know at ifsiblog@gmail.com. We reserve the right to pursue all available legal remedies — including formal DMCA takedown proceedings against websites that reproduce our content without authorisation.
